Earth Ritual calls us home to our relationship with the earth. Robert Kyr’s environmental oratorio for voices and instruments explores the transformative experience of a couple traveling around the world and striving to understand humankind’s relationship to nature. Projection Designer Camilla Tassi will create projections featuring photographs taken by Robert Kyr. Join Conspirare for this gorgeous world premiere – one night only! In addition, join Robert Kyr for a special pre-concert talk at 7 pm on May 6. Admissions is included with ticket!
“As our universal language, music has a crucial role to play in addressing the current environmental crisis, because it powerfully connects all of us to each other, and to our innermost beliefs and convictions. Through a better understanding of who we truly are and the needs of our planet, we will develop a deeper commitment to living in harmony with nature, as the basis for our survival.”
– Robert Kyr, composer
Tickets start at $25. Student tickets available for $10. See seating map for instructions.
